Boada and several other illegal immigrants attacked an NYPD officer and lieutenant just steps from the New Amsterdam theater — a popular destination among tourists. The caught-on-camera attack has sparked widespread condemnation. Seven illegal immigrants have now been charged in relation to the attack.

John Chell, the NYPD Chief of Patrol, labeled Saturday's attack as "reprehensible" while calling the suspects who punched and kicked the officers "cowards," during a Wednesday news conference.

"You saw the video," Chell said. "You have eight people attacking a lieutenant and a cop. Running up to them and trying to kick them in the face."

A violent illegal immigrant who was arrested for taking part in a mob attack on two NYPD officers flipped the bird at awaiting reporters as he was released from custody on Wednesday.  Jhoan Boada, 22, made the offensive double-handed signal after he was released from police custody on charges of assaulting a police officer and gang assault for the shocking beat down in Times Square on Saturday near a migrant shelter.  Everyone was released and they have disappeared, most likely at taxpayer expense.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki confirmed that President Biden’s administration will not push to deport illegal immigrants who are convicted of driving under the influence or drug-related crimes.  (As of 2/1, Fifty-nine House Democrats joined Republicans to pass a bill to deport illegal immigrants caught driving under the influence on Thursday.)

Dereliction of Duty

“Dereliction of duty- the definition is a failure or refusal to perform one's assigned duties in a satisfactory manner or to abide by the rules of one's job. It can be intentional or accidental, willful or negligent, and may have serious consequences for the employer or the organization. It is a cause for disciplinary action, which may vary by employer. It is also a formal term for an egregious failure to uphold one's responsibility.”

I would maintain that Joe Biden, all D’s in the House and Senate and the Soros-supported DAs have demonstrated a conscious abandonment of their duties at the border, leading to outrageous outpourings of taxpayer money, danger to people and property and rank unfairness to citizens and those applying to immigrate legally.  Illegals are treated as “super-citizens,” ones having greater rights than citizens, especially including veterans who have served our country.  In fact, some mayors are asking citizens to house this garbage, while somehow exempting themselves from the rules.

Where is the judge or other appointed official with the guts to demand extreme disciplinary action for those abandoning their job at the border?  Impeaching Mayorkas may sound like a viable action, but the puppet-masters pulling Biden’s strings will simply appoint another compliant idiot.  There needs to be a wholesale cleaning of all those who refuse to do their jobs.  We are poorer and less safe because of the open border; all those who felt an open border was a good idea have to know that they were wrong, criminally.

Borders matter

They define the property line of your home, but they also define what a country is.  Right now, we’re anyone’s game and way too attractive because of how generously this government treats people who have no right to be here.  Readers of this blog know I would immediately deprive all illegals of ANY benefits, financial or otherwise, which would encourage them to leave.  I’d also like to apply e-Verify to employment AND housing, which would make it impossible for them to stay.  Then, and only then, do we create a guest worker program, where skilled workers may be invited in, their costs absorbed by the employer.  Families do not get to come in with them and the work term is limited.  That’s the only way to restore safety and fairness to those of us paying the bills.

Prosecution Must Change

Remember when you couldn’t get fined for not wearing a seatbelt?  You needed to have another violation to be cited.  Illegals, by definition have already broken laws in our country, simply by being here.  So, any crime they commit should be treated far more seriously because they are already a serial offender.  Instead of using money to help them, the money should be spent on deportation.  Do anything wrong and you’re gone.  Also, give them nothing. 

Some small number of illegals successfully build a life here, taking nothing from taxpayers.  But most of those under Biden’s term are not these people.  And asylum requires that you request this from the first country you enter, meaning only Mexicans.  We should not be obligated to support them, nor should we tolerate being victims of their criminality.  And if a cop happens to shoot one, that should be fine.  These dedicated cops risk their lives every day.  They should have the right to protect themselves when the government isn’t doing its job.

Am I angry?  If you aren’t, you should be.  This country is being destroyed by the pernicious and evil plans on the Left.  There needs to be consequences for these deliberate, country-killing actions; many Democrats need to go!  Now!
