If you are on the fence about the upcoming election, and perhaps concerned about Trump’s personal behavior, let’s take a moment to see what a Harris presidency would look like. We already know what a Trump presidency looked like; we had more money, energy was cheap, jobs were everywhere and people were happier. We were also much less divided.
Immigration – Things will only get worse. Right now, the numbers overwhelm any community’s ability to handle them. Illegals now expect enormous amounts of freebies and show little interest in working while the handouts keep coming. Our working poor and vets are shoved aside. At the same time, young children are being trafficked, drugs are entering our country in vast amounts, Chinese agents are infiltrating and terrorists arrive every day. Harris believes that in bringing in everyone, the Left will end up with an iron fist around elections…and she may be right. Does this sound good to anyone?
Energy – I know few people who look forward to opening their monthly energy bill; the costs have risen dramatically, and even those trying to cut back are seeing higher bills. Gas prices fluctuate, but still are well above those we enjoyed during Trump’s reign. Harris will make things worse as she doubles down on EVs and other electrical hogs, while limiting our ability to produce energy. She’s against nuclear and fracking, but apparently feels that electricity is just “there” and we can use as much as we want. AI demands even more than all the “green” energy ever does and will take up land the Left claims they want to use to build housing.
Cost of Everything – Biden/Harris-caused inflation won’t be reduced because they will keep spending. The Fed will then create more money to back the spending while trying to keep unemployment low. But there will be fewer jobs because there will be fewer companies. We see bankruptcies everywhere. At the same time, even solid companies struggle because the price of energy affects literally everything. From producing a product to bringing it to stores to running the stores and restaurants, everything requires energy. In CA, we already get power outages and brownouts that we never had before because demand exceeds supply. This will drive the cost of everything higher, making basic needs unaffordable.
Civil Unrest and Crime – What you don’t police, you get more of. With Lefties everywhere letting criminals off the hook and ignoring violent rioters (unless, of course, they are mostly peaceful protestors on January 6th), we will see more useful idiots demanding that we support Hamas, more retail theft, more home invasions and other crimes. As a friend said, “I feel sort of stupid walking out with my cart full of expensive, paid-for items while watching others push their carts past the checkout lines, stealing the same items.” And when the government appears to support extreme positions and beliefs and the media highlights these people as heroes, these behaviors incite many to anger. People who had peacefully coexisted with those of differing beliefs are under attack and feel a need to strike out. Interestingly, in all my discussions, the only people who have ghosted friends or attacked them because of differences are on the Left. Those on the Right tend to just change the subject or try to limit the damage.
International Disaster
We start with threats that had been mostly limited prior to Biden’s term. Russian didn’t invade Ukraine and Hamas didn’t have Iran to supply them with weapons to attack Israel. Even China didn’t go full-tilt-boogie anywhere, trying to minimize the damage their economic bubble is likely to cause them. Going forward with Harris, our enemies will be emboldened and invasions and wars will break out everywhere. We no longer have the military might and have given away too many of our weapons to fight battles on the many fields where they are likely to erupt. We might even see an invasion here, on US soil. Dictators and terrorists fear a strong country where retaliation will be swift and disastrous for them. They do not fear Harris. Even Putin is now supporting her election. What does that tell you?
Climate Change
The flawed policies to manage the natural occurrences where climate is continually changing will go forward on steroids. Wind farms that kill birds and damage the ocean’s ecosystems will be everywhere. We will be pushed to buy EVs and electric appliances we do not want and be starved for power. And the climate change will continue, unabated, as these are flawed solutions and will not work.
The Great Reset
The World Economic Forum seeks to destabilize all major nations, but particularly ours. The goal is to tear everything down and rebuild in the image these unelected “experts” design. Nothing I’ve seen in their policies can produce a prosperous world for the majority. Instead, the goal, like so many socialists believe, is to suck up the riches for themselves and be the leaders they think they are. The problem is that they don’t read history. All those who helped Stalin rise to leadership were killed by him. There is never enough to go around to all those prospective plutocrats. The Left doesn’t get this, will never get it. I’ve heard people older than myself say how grateful they are that they will not live to see all the disaster and destruction these policies will cause.
Every election is important, but now, instead of having two parties that differed some on a few points, the Left has crafted a policy package that will assuredly make everything worse. Love him or hate him, Trump will not do any of what you see above. Will he make mistakes? Yes, but they won’t cost what Harris’ will.
