Don’t Be Fooled
“Malicious prosecution it a legal term that refers to the filing of a civil or criminal case that has no probable cause, and is filed for some purpose other than obtaining justice. When such a case is decided in favor of the defendant, he may turn around and file a civil lawsuit against the plaintiff or prosecutor for malicious prosecution, seeking damages.”
If you’ve been reading this blog, you know that I don’t want Donald Trump as the Republican candidate. While he did a good job (as good as you can do when you have the Swamp working hard against you), he would be limited to one term AND the Left will not stop going after him, on any issue they can find.
However, anyone that cares about the law knows that the Left is continuing to get judges and DAs to go after the man, trying to damage him in voters’ minds. Ironically, every poll appears to show that rather than hurting him, these politically motivated actions are simply making Trump more popular, at least with the Right. This means that the Left is gambling that Biden will look more Presidential and innocent than Trump. I’m fairly certain they’re wrong. I’ve talked to many Democrats who claim they won’t vote for Biden again. They aren’t sure what they plan to do, but they are sure that he is NOT their candidate.
The Case Against Biden
While Biden could hide from everyone during Covid, leaving them only the impression of an elder statesman ready to serve, that strategy won’t work now. His mental and physical feebleness are out there for everyone to see. And most of us have encountered older people who are no longer able to take care of themselves. Biden is in this category. Without the care of the Secret Service and White House staff (and the careful monitoring from Jill Biden), we would see Biden as someone who recently escaped from a locked-door, memory care center.
That alone might be enough. But now, credible witnesses have testified to the Biden family’s financial benefit from giving access and support to foreign governments, a crime that would certainly land politician in prison. The well-hidden visitor log would show a great deal about who has access, but even so, there’s enough evidence out there; more evidence than has been credibly gathered about Trump’s supposed crimes.
We also simply have to look at his policies and their results. Our country is going bankrupt, spurred to a financial hole by reckless spending. This has impacted everyone. The price of goods outpaces the increases in pay for us taxpayers them. Inflation is high, which impacts the poor; the Dems claim they care so much about them, but they don’t really. There’s more to talk about here, but much has been discussed in prior blogs.
Trump’s “Guilt”
Russian collusion – disproven. The crimes committed against him with the Clinton-funded dossier deserve prosecution more than the claim that Putin got Trump elected. The Left went after Trump for a variety of crimes, holding that they were impeachable acts.
Now that he’s out of office, they have come up with a laundry list of crimes under “insurrection.” I talked to some people who went to the rally on January 6th. None of them had plans to go to the Capitol, and, in fact, if you stayed through the rally, given the distance, you would have been late to the actions that took place. And to my mind, those “actions” were far less serious than your average BLM or antifa riot. And Trump wasn’t there. He didn’t urge them to storm the Capitol.
They are going after him for papers that were packed up and sent to Mar-a-Lago. First, the President does have fairly extensive rights on taking things home after his term. VPs and Senators do not, but no one is going after Biden. Second, he didn’t pick the items nor pack them himself. To think he did is ludicrous. Third, he had them in a very secure estate (not a garage where criminally-minded Hunter could get to them). The normal process would be for the archivists to go through them and take back the items he
shouldn’t have taken. Not to have government thugs storm his property.
Financial crimes? Well, most leaders of huge companies could be accused of this. Larry Fink, Blackrock, by forcing his investors into ESG funds, provably lost investors their hard-earned money. Where’s the indictment? There simply isn’t the evidence to support much of anything here, and even the little bits that exist are the kinds of things that many do and are never charged for. Ridiculous!
Election interference. Yes, Trump strayed from the norm by asking Pence to declare the election invalid. He tried to persuade others to invalidate the results, BUT nothing happened. And still, Hilary is trying to force people to believe that she lost in 2016 by fraud. And no one is going after her. I don’t even think she was charged for the huge amount of damage her rage caused in her election-night suite.
Taxpayer Anger
Any idea how much all this costs? The years of persecution, the current trials… All paid for by us, the already stressed taxpayer. People should vote out Dems simply for this reason. They are wasting our money, not just on Trump derangement, but also on supporting illegals so they can stay here (supported better than our working poor) and huge and ill-thought-out government programs to combat climate change. Good luck with that one. Mother Nature will win out, as she has for millennia.
People married to a spendthrift often get a divorce to keep their financial sanity. We need a divorce from the Left to save our investments and retirement. The buck should stop here, in our pockets. Not in the pockets of wastrels and thugs.
