THE BIDEN PROBLEM
Democrats Running Scared
The Issue
If nothing else would cause concern, Biden’s disastrous debate performance made it clear that despite weeks of prep (and possible pharmaceutical help), he can’t go the distance. But what can the Democrats do? He (and his wife, “Dr. Jill”), insist that he is ready for the campaign and to serve again for another four years.
The Democrats keep putting forward possible replacements for him, but the reality is coming up to bite them. Can they actually replace him without his consent?
The Options
1. Biden can be pushed to resign. This is very unlikely at this point. It is clear he isn’t doing the job, putting in only a handful of hours per day, but that doesn’t seem to stop him. The presidency is a cap on his many years of service; he doesn’t want to give it up. Besides, if he resigns, Harris takes his place, both now and in the election.
2. Biden can be 25th amendmented. However, this never happens for the simple reason that the President appoints the Executive Branch. Congress cannot push him out. And his appointees won’t. They know they are safe in their lucrative positions as long as he is there.
3. Dems can try to convince electors to select someone else at their convention. However, think of how the voters who selected him will feel. It would be as if no primaries happened. That’s not right. And it may not be legal. However, they might try to push in a new VP. That would be a smart move.
4. Floating a strong, 3rd-party candidate who would execute their plans could work, but it may be too late to get him/her on the ballots of all 50 states. It also might be hard to work up sufficient energy. Who do they have that excites people to vote?
5. Hire an assassin? They would still be left with Harris.
Wisely, I think, Gov. Noisome is refusing to take the bait. He’s planning on 2028 and doesn’t want to tarnish his image by jumping forward now. Michelle Obama hated every minute of her eight years in the White House; though popular, she doesn’t want it. And the bench on the Left is pretty empty.
Biden is Their Guy
Biden is the candidate, unless he dies or resigns. What can they do? My belief is that they will do what they did in 2020; steal the election in the key states. There have been too many provable allegations of election fraud from that election and many more suspicious and unexplained behaviors that night and into the days after, as ballots mysteriously appeared and many disappeared. This has happened before, but it was rarely as widespread as 2020, nor were there were so many methods employed.
We need to watch out for this; it’s the only way he can win.
