Like a War, but Far Less Understandable
The Word is Out
Despite all the denials and return to the original story (bat transmitted the virus to a human and caused the pandemic), few probably believe this lie. Perhaps all we don’t know for sure is whether or not the release of the CCP virus was deliberate. Even were it to be an accidental release, blame still accrues to the CCP for withholding the information from the world for so long. And now, we know that some of the funding for the gain-of-function (GOF) research came from the US, courtesy of Tony Fauci.
The Toll (so far)
Internationally, the total is around 3.75MM, but even as this probably includes people who tested positive for Covid, but did not die of the disease, it’s still a staggering number. In the Vietnam war, which marked the end of support for international conflict engagement, perhaps 1MM died. The number who have been harmed is much higher, including those with long term damage from the disease, those who died due to isolation and those who lost businesses and jobs.
What Should Have Happened
The Chinese government should have alerted the world as soon as they realized they had a leak and closed their borders. Given that they knew the virus, they could have provided everyone with the virus signature, so people could begin creating vaccines (this took about four days, so everything could have been different if they had been forthcoming).
Dr. Fauci should have kept the politics out of it. He couldn’t for AIDS, but his “advice” caused huge problems. Not the least of it is the fact that he had helped fund the Bat Lady’s research, even as you couldn’t do this work in the US. He knew what it was all about, he knew masks wouldn’t do much and I’m sure he knew that the lockdown was like getting a fancy security system after burglars have looted your house. Science does evolve as information comes in, but he knew a lot more than he shared early on. And then, you couldn’t count on the accuracy of what he said.
Penalties
So, what do we do now to recover losses for all the people who died and their families? For those who lost their jobs and businesses? For all those who still suffer from the after-effects of a created disease? And for the rest of us who had other kinds of economic losses?
1. Fire Fauci and cancel his pension. He’s made enough of our tax money.
2. Demand permanent inspectors watching all the Chinese labs (or close them altogether). This can’t be WHO inspectors; we saw how well their “investigation” worked out.
3. Set up international agreements as to future penalties for lying about disease propagation, including exclusion from the world economy.
4. Regroup and reconsider the mistakes made during this pandemic.
a. Shutdowns
b. Unwillingness to let people try any viable treatment
c. Masking
d. Physical distancing
e. Isolation of the elderly
5. Consider some form of financial penalty on the Chinese government
6. And take the Olympics away from them. Do we really want them rewarded on the world stage for yet another breach of ethics?
