Recently, Harris has finally appeared on a few interview shows, choosing only to speak where she already knows she has support. Even so, she didn’t do all that well. 60 Minutes, generally in the tank for liberals, struggled to interview her successfully. They clearly were trying to get her to reveal her positions, but, as usual, she punted. This alone should make one hesitant to vote for her. After all, not only does Trump tell you upfront what his plans are, including offering a list of possible jurists in his first term, but he then does exactly what he says he will do.
When asked if she would continue Biden’s much-disliked policies, she gave another word salad. But when asked how much she was involved in the work of the Presidency, she claimed to have been involved on every issue, problem or challenge. The latter was obviously to show that she demonstrated leadership, but if this claim was true (doubtful), why doesn’t she speak about her disagreements with his policies, if she had them, or claim that she will continue them? We know why; because they don’t work. It won’t help get her elected.
She pretends that illegal immigration was a problem that started with Trump, ignoring the clear data showing that the numbers were way down when he had tougher policies. People crossing the border weren’t greeted with food, water, health care, housing and transportation. They got nothing. The Biden/Harris “welcome wagon” and the fact that amnesty was constantly on the table were the proximate cause of the numbers rising to staggering levels. And, of course, the Left wants these people to come. Grateful, they are sure illegals will vote for them. And they will vote. I’ve seen it personally. Many have been carefully moved to swing states to “swing” the vote.
Economy? Harris thinks everyone is really happy with Bidenomics, which means that not only doesn’t she speak with neutral or critical interviewers, she is also not speaking with regular Americans. Maybe she only interviews illegals. Many homeless vets and poor people would love to receive one-half of what she has given to illegals. Harris is tone-deaf to reality. Following the hurricane, with devastation and death we rarely see in the US, she tells us that FEMA is doing great (minus the billion-plus they wasted on illegals) and that people are happy. An interview with a single mom revealed that not only didn’t she get the $750 she was promised, only getting $300, but the excuse was that they only gave it to two-parent households. I don’t know if you’ve seen some of the destruction, but $750 won’t do much of anything. Perhaps minority families do better; I don’t know. I’m not sure where she could cash a check anyway.
If it weren’t for private individuals and companies, people would be even worse off. There are NO resources there. No one even knows how many people are still to be found in the rubble and flood plain. Some have internet, courtesy of Elon Musk, who also has sent employees to help our where they can. So have many other private companies and citizens.
Harris still wants Israel to agree to a cease-fire, without conditions. Despite historical evidence that a two-state solution will never work, she claims this is a solution. And having been party to giving Afghanistan back to the Taliban along with millions of dollars of our weapons systems, she apparently supports all kinds of bad actors, such as Iran and Hamas. She’d be out there picketing with the college idiots if she weren’t running.
The thing you most have to worry about is her stand on “equity.” She is going to rob Peter (the working class) to pay Paul (the non-working minorities and illegals). “From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.” Sound familiar? She is more a communist than Bernie. (He’s even said so). Why will anyone want to work when they will be robbed of their earnings to give it to those who make no effort?
Harris is the most dangerous candidate we’ve seen. Obama led the way, but he felt constrained; he didn’t go as far as he wanted to go. Harris has shown she is willing to destroy everything that made our country great, tearing down institutions, the Constitution and our prosperity to achieve goals even she won’t fully articulate.
I don’t care if you don’t like Trump’s personality and behavior. Looking at history, you’ll find that some of our Presidents were as bad (or even worse). But what matters is what they’ll do and how it will affect you. Trump tells you what he wants to do, and unlike most politicians, is clearly not in it for the money. He is a patriot.
Vote smart! Our country depends on it.
