WHAT’S WITH ALL THE VIOLENCE ON THE LEFT?

First, there were the attacks against Donald Trump, one which came close to killing him. Conservative SCOTUS justices have been threatened. Rand Paul has been threatened several times. And now, people Trump is trying to appoint to fill positions are being threatened and attacked, such as Pete Hegseth. He and his family had a bomb threat issued against them. Scary! Elise Stefanik also was told there was a bomb that would blow up their residence. Fortunately, law enforcement rallied to make sure everyone was safe. But still, this is not how rational adults behave. And I have yet to hear Morning Joe or the View condemn these actions. Imagine if the threat were against Biden, Harris or Obama.

The Left has given lip service to trying to stop the violence against Jews in our universities. I would make sure everyone involved in antisemitic harassment not only was expelled from school, but that it was also marked on their transcript, so that they would have more difficulty landing a job. After all, what employer wants an antisemite for an employee?

BLM, Antifa and Other Lefty Riots vs. January 6^th

Let’s examine how the Left and Right respond to things that don’t go their way. January 6^th may have scared some Congresspeople, but the only one killed was unarmed and shot by a rogue cop. Buildings weren’t burned, stores weren’t looted, people were generally civil, while perhaps being a bit over-active in trying to get into the People’s Congress Building.

Instead, when the Left is upset, they injure and kill people, burn down buildings, fence off neighborhoods, claiming they have created a city, despite renters and owners not wanting them to do this and loot. More calmly, they threaten to leave the country (no one to date has, that I know of), institute more show trials, yell and scream to an increasingly small number of viewers, riot and block highways and bridges. Let’s not forget how student Lefties have been terrorizing Jews, acting with impunity because they know they won’t be punished.

Many of us hated when Obama was elected (twice). But we went about our way, writing to friendly people in Washington to try to calmly pursue our goals. Biden was a disaster, but wasn’t ever shot at, subject to show trials (though he was guilty of quite a lot) and only got injured due to his own ineptitude. But you wouldn’t know there was a difference between the way the Left and Right react to adversity.

The mainstream media is responsible for conflating anything the Right does, even making a scene if some people hang signs over freeways and quietly commemorate veterans or even, (gasp, groan), show their preference for Trump. They also downplay the Left’s damage—“mostly peaceful protests”—when it’s anything but. It makes it sounds as if both sides are committing crimes, when, for the most part, it is ALWAYS the Left. Why?

Reasons?

One joke that has been floated is that people on the right don’t protest much because they have jobs. There’s some truth to this, as we know that many Lefty protestors have been paid to be there. Another is that people on the right are saner. They act under the rules of civility and yes, the law. While we may feel that most of what Biden has done has undermined our Constitution and caused serious harm to the future of our country, we act as adults. Sure, there are exceptions, but they are few and far between. And yet, we get treated as if we’re the bad guys if we take one step away from passivity.

I am reminded of “Animal Farm,” where some animals are more equal than others. Which means, that some political parties can get away with things that the others cannot. We see this all the time from the Left. Look at Christian bakers who won’t bake wedding cakes for gay couples. Do Muslim bakeries bake wedding cakes for gays? I think not, but their behavior is ignored.

Let’s get back to standards where we are ALL equal. We differ in opinions, but no one’s opinion is fact. Let’s stop judging people on perceived victim status or how much they cleave to the Left’s socialist mythology. The world would be a more civil place if we simply stop acting like children who had their blanky taken away.
